In 1997, this standard was first introduced internationally, and the definition of halal food was included in it. In this regulation, not only the production and processing of products were included, Halal Rules but also transportation, preservation, storage, and any tools and equipment involved in this process are included.
Currently, the Halal brand encompasses a wide range of economic activities, including pharmaceuticals, healthcare, cosmetics, and even industries such as banking, travel, and tourism.
